Miss Chloe

I began gymnastics when I was just 3 years old and to this very day, my love for the sport just keeps on growing! My mum was a gymnast when she was younger and decided to take me back to her old club to give pre-school gymnastics a try and I have been involved in the sport ever since.

At the age of 5 I got selected into the competitive squad for my club and have been walking on my hands ever since! I trained countless hours each week with the determination to be the best I could be.

I competed in County and Regional competitions and also had the chance to attend many training camps as a gymnast, which was great fun.

I always knew that I would progress to become a gymnastics coach and I started to help with classes when I turned 13. At the age of 14, I took my first coaching qualification and soon got my first class, I was so excited to start to teach younger gymnasts the skills that I could do.

I started to take on a few more classes here and there and soon was booked onto a Level 1 coaching course to build up more knowledge and coaching skills.

I finished Training and Competing aged 16 and hung up the handguards for good. I began to coach more classes and I was approached by the Level 3 Men’s Artistic Coach to see if I’d be interested at starting a new development boy’s group. I worked alongside him for 3 months to get to grips with the different apparatus and then started a group of 8 young aspiring gymnasts.

I worked with these boys for over 3 years and we went to many Club, Regional & National competitions. During this time, I gained my Level 2 coaching qualification which has helped with both mine and the gymnast’s development.

I am ejoying every single minute of being part of the Miss Poppy's Team & I’m excited to see where the future takes us.
